More KOF XV Season 2 DLC will start rolling out in 2023, and both Kim Kaphwan and Shingo Yabuki will join its roster. SNK says things will start in January 2023. That is when a character rebalancing update will appear and Shingo will join the cast. Kim Kaphwan and cross-play will show up in Spring 2023.

Shingo first showed up in KOF 97. He uses martial arts when fighting. While he’s being added as a single character here, he also appeared on teams in the past. He was on Team Hero in KOF 99 and on Team Japan for KOF 2001 and 2003.

Meanwhile Kim Kaphwan showed up in both KOF and Fatal Fury games. He’s known for his Tae Kwon Do skills. Many times he appeared as the head of his own team in installments, which was often called Team Kim.

As a reminder, one of the last additions to the game brought Samurai Shodown characters to the cast. Darli Dagger, Haohmaru, and Nakoruru appeared as DLC back in October 2022.

The King of Fighters XV is available for the PS4, PS5, Xbox Series X, and PC. The KOF XV Season 2 DLC will kick off with Shingo Yabuki in January 2023.

In case you missed it, the Dark Deity made its Switch debut just a few weeks ago. Thanks to our friends at Freedom Games and Sword & Axe, Siliconera has a few codes for the Switch version to give away this week.

If you're a fan of strategy RPGs and haven't given the game a spin yet, it comes highly recommended. Dark Deity is rooted in its creators' love of those early Fire Emblem games. There are some changes to the formula, though. For example, it dispenses with weapon durability.

In celebration of GetsuFumaDen: Undying Moon's official release, Konami shared some Nintendo Switch codes with Siliconera to giveaway!

As for things to come, the Endwalker expansion is delayed. People won't be able to hop into it until December. Early access begins on December 3, 2021 for people who pre-ordered. People who didn't will be able to begin accessing the MMORPG's new content on December 7, 2021. The delay also means that the annual All Saints' Wake event will be delayed into 2022.

Armature Studios' Where the Heart Leads is heading to discs. Perp Games is preparing retail copies. Each one gives people the game, a digital art book, and a digital soundtrack. I'm in way over my head with this one, so read a brief synopsis below:

Leaving an unknown amount of survivors inside and a reactor at the verge of exploding, the rescue team is sent in to figure out the situation and save the ones left inside. Unfortunately the leader of the rescue team is suffering from amnesia, which makes the situation even more complicated. The player will uncover the events that have led to this disaster. Combining the stories of the different characters and experiencing every twist and turn is the only way to uncover the truth of what happened that fateful day.

What separates Root Double -Before Crime * After Days- Xtend Edition from contemporary games is its unique and highly involved Senses Sympathy System, in which the player must follow their senses and gut feeling and prioritize which character they want to focus on and follow, drastically changing the scenario and the outcome at every step. One wrong move can lead to their demise, and the many endings of the game are certainly not happy ever after...

Boasting hours of gameplay that change based on your choices, two separate story path (before the crime and after the crime, as hinted in the title), multiple story outcomes, and fully voiced by famous Japanese VO artists, you're getting a lot of bang for your buck on this one. Which, if you win, highly favors bang over buck.

The second crossover with Persona 5 Royal has been released today in Another Eden: The Cat Beyond Time and Space, the mobile adventure game across time and space. By playing through the crossover scenario, players can get Persona 5 Royal characters, Violet and Skull for free. Players can also get 1,000 Chronos Stones just by starting the crossover quest "Bound Wills and the Hollow Puppeteers: Promises, Vows, and Rings."

In update version 2.5.200 which adds the second crossover, a new character Victor, with the newly added Thunder element, is also added. Ally Encounter Holy Blessings Series, an Encounter featuring characters with healing abilities, will also be available.

• New content, Symphony "Bound Wills and the Hollow Puppeteers: Promises, Vows, and Rings" added
• The content is not time limited and can be played anytime
• Violet can be acquired by playing through the designated story
• Skull can be acquired by clearing a mission in Another Dungeon: Mementos
• New battle content available, in which players can take on the twin wardens, Justine and Caroline.
