Shovel Knight Live: Steel Thy Concert Delayed by LA Fires

Yacht Club Games announced that the Shovel Knight Live: Steel Thy Concert is officially delayed as a result of the fires in Los Angeles, California. It was originally going to be held at 8pm PT on January 19, 2025. The new date for the performance is March 30, 2025.

In a statement, Yacht Club Games announced that this was due not only to the fires, but the fact that people involved with putting on the concert were directly affected by it. It specifically cited crew members and musicians. It also noted that it expects the delay would result in a “bigger” and “better” show, as well as one that keeps the safety of performers, crew, and attendees in mind.

The announcement included details about how tickets and refunds for the delayed Shovel Knight Live: Steel Thy Concert performance will be handled. All existing tickets for the January 19, 2025 show will be honored on March 30, 2025. Sites still selling tickets will now be selling remaining ones for the March performance. If someone can not make the new date, they do have a window in which they can request a refund from AXS direct. AXS will also email ticket-holders about the delay.

The new schedule for the performances is as follows:

  • February 22, 2025: The Town Hall performance in New York, New York.
  • March 30, 2025: The Fonda Theatre performance in Los Angeles, California.

Another event set for this weekend was affected by the LA fires. Bandai Namco canceled the Dragon Ball Games Battle Hour 2025. That was supposed to run January 18-19, 2025.

The first Shovel Knight Live: Steel Thy Concert performance will now be held in New York on February 22, 2025.
