Middle East and North Africa (MENA), especially the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries, represent a huge and expanding market for the Tata group.

The Tata group has been present in this region for over 50 years. It currently operates through 29 companies across 8 verticals with more than 16,500+ employees in 40+ countries and combined revenues in excess of $5.2 billion.

Jaguar Land Rover, Tata Consultancy Services, Tata Communications, Voltas, Tata Steel, Tata International, Indian Hotels, Titan Company and Air India have a prominent presence in MENA region. The Tata group has played a pivotal role in shaping the landscape of the region through its MEP expertise and customized steel solutions for some of the world’s tallest structures in demanding weather conditions.

It is helping to empower women by providing professional development and career opportunities to support the digital transformation of the region through its all-women IT services center and all-women Innovation Lab in  Saudi Arabia. It is also helping to power connectivity of all major telcos through its sub-sea cables, while also running a 24/7 cybersecurity response to protect the region.

The Tata group companies has been redefining mobility with its award-winning range of SUVs and reliable, rugged commercial vehicles suited to challenging desert terrains. It also offers world-class refinement and unique Indian warmth & hospitality with the launch of award-winning hotels in Dubai with multiple projects under development in the UAE and Saudi Arabia. Titan company, Tata Consumer Products and Tata Chemicals spearheads the group activities in consumer & retail vertical in the region with its diversified product portfolios.

  • Technology – Tata Consultancy Services has been actively present in Middle East & Africa region over 25 years with over 150 clients across 12 countries and 9,000 consultants to with powerful presence in 11 industries to create value for their enterprises and their stakeholders. Tata Communications offers international sub-sea connectivity for the entire region with the rest of the world in addition to a full suite of network and managed services, including Hosting and Security, Collaboration, Mobility, IoT Solutions, Cloud/Edge Computing and Advanced network monitoring and optimization solutions, as a digital ecosystem enabler.  
  • Automotive - Jaguar Land Rover is present across 19 countries in the region, through 44 dealerships. Land Rover has been engraved into the region's history, and the current Range Rover family portfolio is one of the most awarded SUV line-ups of vehicles in the MENA region. Tata Motors offers products with the reliability and ruggedness necessary for operating in local weather conditions and terrains, and its commercial vehicles are sold across GCC and North Africa.
  • Materials – Tata Steel Middle East functions as a single window for Tata Steel group products and it provides differentiated steel products and service solutions as per the region's requirements for various prestigious projects. Tata International is one of the largest suppliers of Hot Rolled Products, Structurals, Deformed Bars, Wire Rods and Steel Raw materials. 
  • Infrastructure – Voltas’ MEP expertise is behind some of the most iconic projects in the Middle East landscape, including Burj Khalifa, Ferrari World, Dubai Expo City, Lusail Boulevard Doha, Doha Festival City, Kempinski Hotel, and Vendome Mall Doha. International Shipping & Logistics is a dry bulk shipping company which owns 2 Panamax vessels and provides customized solutions to carry over 20 different commodities and transports about 8 million MT of dry cargo per annum for its various clients across geographies.
  • Consumer & Retail – Titan markets all its major watch brands in MENA for many years which has maintained its strong foothold in the watch market and has extended its jewelry business ‘Tanishq’ and eyewear business ‘Titan Eye+’ to the region. Tata Consumer Products is present in all the GCC countries, and its flagship brands in the region include Tata Tea, Tata Coffee, Tetley, Tata Salt, Kanan Devan, and Soulfull.
  • Tourism & Travel – Indian Hotels operates 3 award-winning hotels in the UAE - Taj Exotica Resorts & Spa The Palm Dubai,  Taj Dubai and Taj Jumeirah Lakes Towers, Dubai with several other projects in various stages of completion in the UAE and Saudi Arabia. Air India and Air India Express operates 450+ flights every week in the Gulf Middle East and Africa (GMEA) region to Dubai, Sharjah, Abu Dhabi, Al Ain, Ras Al Khaimah, Dammam, Riyadh, Kuwait, Muscat, Salalah, Doha and Bahrain in the Gulf sector from 20 Indian cities. Vistara has presence in MENA since 2019 and recently it has launched services to Jeddah and Dammam in addition to existing Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Doha sectors and plans to expand to other international locations aggressively.
  • Tata International Africa, Tata Elxsi, Tata Technologies, Tejas Networksmjunction, Tata Chemicals, Tata Tinplate, Tata Metaliks, Tata Projects, Tata Consulting Engineers, Tata Power, Tata Asset Management, Tata Advanced Systems and Trent also have a presence in the region.
  • New growth frontiers for the group are Tata AIA Insurance which has recently opened a representative office in Dubai to serve NRI customers and Trent exploring suitable opportunities for their offerings.
  • Tata Sons has a representative office in Dubai, UAE since 2014, which acts as an enabler for market entry and growth for Tata group companies in the region.
