Tata IPL
The Indian Premier League (IPL), which started in 2007, is one of the world's leading T20 cricket leagues. The 2022 edition will feature ten teams and over 70 matches. The Tata group is the title sponsor for the Tata IPL 2022.
Tata Mumbai Marathon
The largest marathon in Asia, the Tata Mumbai Marathon includes a Full Marathon (42.195 kms), Half Marathon (21.097 kms), Dream Run (6.6 km), Senior Citizens Race (4.7 km), Champions with Disability category (2.1 km) and a newly added Open 10K run. Over 46,000 participants take to the streets of Mumbai on the third Sunday of January every year.
TCS New York City Marathon
Since 2014, TCS has been the title sponsor of what is arguably the largest marathon in the world. The TCS NYC Marathon is one of many global running events sponsored by TCS (others include the Amsterdam Marathon and the TCS Lidingöloppet), and embodies TCS's commitment to supporting the communities in which it operates.
Tata Steel Chess Tournament
Known as the "Wimbledon of Chess", the Tata Steel Chess Tournament is one of the most prestigious events in the international chess calendar. It attracts the best chess grandmasters in the world, along with amateur players, live event visitors, and online visitors from around the world. The tournament celebrated its 80th anniversary in 2018.
Tata Crucible
Tata Crucible, India’s largest business quiz, is a knowledge initiative that brings together the sharpest minds in India, to take on a fast-paced quiz, encouraging lateral thinking. Started in 2004, the annual, nationwide competition is held in two separate tracks for corporates and campus students. The campus edition of is also held in Singapore and Dubai.
Tata Literature Live!
The Tata group is the title sponsor of this event, founded and run by Anil Dharker. Held every year in November, the festival is known for bringing together the biggest names in the literary business, and its lively discussions on economics, politics and social issues.
Jaguar TCS Racing
Two Tata companies, one finish line. Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) joined the iconic British racing team Jaguar Racing as title partner ahead of the 2021/22 ABB FIA Formula E World Championship. The team is Jaguar TCS Racing
Tata Ultra Marathon
The Tata Ultra Marathon is India's first IAU certified ultramarathon. The 35 and 50 km run usually takes place during February or March every year at Lonavla, Maharashtra, India. Started in 2018, it is now one of India's most popular ultramarathons and attracts participants from all age groups.
First Book
Tata North America and First Book have been working together for more than a decade to transform the lives of children by providing equal access to quality education and serving children in need. Tata and First Book provide children with books and learning resources to enable literacy support. Since 2008, over 500,000 books have been distributed.
Tata WPL
The Tata group is the title sponsor for Tata WPL. The league's first season took place in March 2023 featuring five teams with a total of 20 league matches and 2 playoffs across 23 days.
